Mountain biking

In the Slovenian Alps, with their white limestone peaks are a very special place to go mountain biking. The peaks are steep, the valleys deep, and the streams full of clear water. The slopes are blanketed by thick forest and the meadows filled with wild flowers and what is most important - they are perfect for mountain biking.

The range of opportunities for mountain biking in the Črna area is fantastic. There are steep hills to climb, single track forest routes, downhill circuits complete with obstacles, and even biking through the mountains by way of old mining tunnels.

Bike hire and guided tours are provided by the specialist mountain biking centre Mountain Bike Nomad. They are based from a farm situated in Jamnica at the edge of the Karavanke mountains range about 25 minutes by car from Črna Mountain Bike Nomad can be contacted directly or we are happy to assist if required.
