Ice climbing

Slovenia's deep valleys and cold winters mean that most winters give plenty of good quality ice to climb on. There are a number of steep water courses and waterfalls which consistently freeze each winter. These areas are also not over used so some excellent routes can be "bagged", often when the best that many other parts of Europe can offer is not in condition. |
